Duties/Responsibilities Weld material according to shop prints Use cranes to rotate beams Back-gouging Quality check finished work so that it meets job specifications, Steel Tech standards Tracking wins, issues/resolves, quantities Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop prints Skilled in operating tools, machinery, and welding equipment Skilled in keeping clean tools, equipment, and work areas Ability to understand IAS/AWS standards and procedures Ability to have focused intensity Ability to plan ahead Education and Experience Preferred High school Diploma or equivalent 1-2 year previous experience in a relevant field Regularly perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time, standing, kneeling, hunched over High energy, maintaining a fast paced, hungry work environment, lift 50 pounds minimum Non climate-controlled environment.
