What You Will Do

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests and developing personalized care strategies
• Identify and treat acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or working autonomously as permitted
• Educate patients and their families on wellness practices, preventative care, and chronic illness management

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• A current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
