Job Title Travel RN – Stepdown / PCU (IMC) Location Asheville, North Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, including telemetry monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner Respond to changes in patient status and escalate care as clinically appropriate Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation Ability to meet facility compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience in a Stepdown or PCU environment Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an intermediate care environment Why Join Us 13-week travel contract offering the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a well-regarded acute care facility in western North Carolina Supportive placement process with a dedicated team to assist you through credentialing and onboarding Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774319.
