Description

• Conduct thorough assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients through standardized tests and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to address both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions that target communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to cultivate integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and families to empower progress beyond the walls of clinical sessions.
• Assist with occasional evaluations and interventions within the inpatient setting, enabling continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to lifelong learning and development through continuing education programs and collaborative opportunities with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) when not ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
