Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Physical Therapy license issued by the state
• Experience working as a PT in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and appropriate documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students per their IEPs
• Assess, develop, and implement customized treatment plans to enhance students’ functional mobility and participation in school activities
• Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Work closely with educators and support staff to modify activities and environments for better student access and engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and contributing to students’ holistic development
