Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
- Must have at least Level 2 trauma experience.

Shift and Travel Requirements:
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Must be willing to work charge positions.
- Floating is 100% required of all travelers.
- Locals: No, Indiana residents not accepted.

Certification Requirements:
- Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Preferred: NIHSS, TNCC

Skillset Requirements:
- General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
- Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias
- Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation
- IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration
- CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients
- Isolation Precautions

Patient Care Details:
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Additional Requirements:
- Travelers university must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation.
- License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable.
- 2 supervisor references required.

Other Requirements:
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- No specific charting system experience required for IU health positions.

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)*
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
