Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 12:00 AM – 08:30 AM Tue 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Thur 12:00 AM – 08:30 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support a professional environment by following post orders, remaining visible throughout assigned areas, and handling routine interactions with courtesy, patience, and sound judgment. Minimum Requirements Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
