Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. On-call rotation may be required.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technician will perform a variety of imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patients. The tech will work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and utilize Siemens imaging equipment. Responsibilities include the preparation and administration of contrast media and ensuring the safety of patients during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducting CT scans of various body parts including abdomen, chest, and head.
• Preparing patients and ensuring comfort during the imaging process.
• Administering contrast media as per protocol.
• Maintaining patient safety and radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Radiation badge is required, to be supplied by the agency.
• Siemens equipment experience is preferred.
