Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC Employment Type: Travel RN Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: Every other weekend Hours per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730 Location: Gainesville, FL 32610 Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse license in good standing Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience required At least 1 year of ICU experience preferred BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize patient safety and manage complex clinical situations Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time Support patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing rehabilitation goals Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the appropriate care team members Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and orientees as assigned Promote a safe, positive, and efficient patient care environment for patients, families, and staff Assume charge responsibilities after orientation as needed Participate in ongoing professional development and team collaboration Apply now to join this travel nursing job in Gainesville, FL and take the next step in your RN career in long-term acute care.
