What You’ll Do Apply comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation. Prepare hot entrees, soups, vegetables, and accompaniments for various dining areas. Follow recipes and preparation sheets to ensure quality and presentation. Complete advance prep, food temperature checks, and tasting for each meal. Maintain accurate preparation records and store food properly. Clean work area and equipment after use. Follow proper lifting, bending, and safety procedures. Assist with fire safety and emergency evacuation as needed. Cooperate with other departments and maintain a clean, safe environment. Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Experience in cooking, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Attention to detail and a passion for preparing great food. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude.
