Job Description:

We are looking for a forward-thinking Sr. Automation Test Engineer with strong AI experience who combines deep testing expertise with hands-on AI tooling proficiency. The candidate will design, build, and scale test frameworks while actively leveraging AI tools to accelerate quality engineering across the team. Resource should have minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Automaton testing. Resource will have to work from office for 3 days in a week. Resource is expected to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using automation tools while leading technical decisions.

Key Requirements:

AI Tools & Prompting (Mandatory)

- Actively uses AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and OpenAI Codex as part of daily development activities.

- Strong prompting skills with the ability to create precise, context-rich prompts for test generation, debugging, test data creation, and code refactoring.

- Comfortable working across multiple AI tools and selecting the most effective tool for a given task.

- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and determine when to accept, refine, or discard recommendations.

Playwright + TypeScript (Primary Stack)

- Strong experience building robust, maintainable end-to-end test automation suites.

- Solid understanding of TypeScript and Playwright best practices.

Cypress

- Working knowledge of Cypress for component and integration testing.

- Ability to maintain existing Cypress suites and support migrations to Playwright.

API Testing

- Experience creating and maintaining automated API test suites for REST and GraphQL services.

- Knowledge of request chaining, schema validation, authentication flows, contract testing, and CI-integrated execution.

- Familiarity with tools such as Playwright API Context, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks.

Framework Development

- Proven ability to architect scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

- Experience with Page Object Models, reusable utilities, reporting, CI/CD integration, and fixture-based architectures.
