Opportunity for annual performance increase 401K program with employer matching Room for growth and career advancement Health insurance Paid life Insurance Paid short term disability Paid vacation and sick time 11 paid holidays Health & Wellness Programs Employee Discount Programs What you'll do: Perform welding duties using a wire/gas welder Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified in drawings, work orders or verbal instructions Operates machinery, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job’s needs Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, drawings or work orders Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other jobs as needed Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment and notifying supervisor if any equipment needs repairs Willing and able to work on heavy equipment What you'll need: Welding certification required Some experience preferred Strong communication skills, written and verbal Must be 18 years of age Working Conditions: Works outdoors in all climates. Exposed to loud noise, dusty environment. Able to climb and work 80 feet or higher, and to stoop, bend or kneel in the review and inspection of plant operations and equipment. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Full mobility of hands Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, leather work shoes, hearing protectors, respirator, gloves and other safety equipment that may be required for the project.
