Role Overview As a Part-Time Associate, you help families have an amazing visit from the moment they walk through our doors. You support front-desk check-ins, keep our dig site tidy and safe, assist with birthday parties, and make sure every little builder has a great time. This role is active, hands-on, and perfect for someone who enjoys working with kids and creating a fun, friendly environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome families with a warm, friendly attitude and guide them through check-in and admission options. Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately. Monitor play zones to ensure safety and maintain a positive, construction-themed environment. Sweep sand, tidy play areas, and sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the day to keep the dig site clean. Maintain restrooms, front desk, and general facility areas. Assist with birthday parties including setup, hosting support, and cleanup. Prepare themed party rooms so families can enjoy a smooth, memorable celebration. Respond to customer questions and concerns with professionalism and care. Follow Dig Depot safety procedures and report incidents promptly. Work collaboratively with teammates to keep the dig site running efficiently. Required Qualifications Prior experience in customer service, childcare, or similar roles is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with children and families in a busy environment. Ability to enforce rules kindly and confidently. Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and engage in active tasks. Weekend availability. Preferred Qualifications Experience in indoor play centers, childcare, camps, or recreation facilities. Outgoing personality and comfort interacting with kids.
