Remote Application support analyst (Mission)

This organization operates within a highly dynamic and regulated environment, requiring robust technical infrastructure and high-performance systems. Mandate Overview Location: Downtown Montreal (hybrid mode – 3 days per week on-site, mandatory) Job type: Consulting mandate Duration: 12 months Start date: As soon as possible Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), 220 working days per year (possibility of 240 in specific cases) Language: English or bilingual (English and French) Resume: Must be submitted in English Required technologies: UNIX, Windows Server, TIBCO RV, Dynatrace, Geneos, Jenkins, Ansible, SQL, Shell, and Python, with knowledge of networking, ECNs, Smart Order Routers, market data systems, and cloud as an asset. Responsibilities Deliver proactive and reactive technical support for internal users and external clients, working closely with product development and management teams Lead and contribute to onboarding efforts for new applications into the production environment Support high-availability systems through structured monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution Coordinate system readiness through daily health checks (morning and evening), supported by global teams Investigate order behaviors and compile trading data based on business queries Participate in projects such as obsolescence programs and data center migrations Ensure full traceability and release readiness of application changes in production Engage in incident analysis, root cause identification, and long-term issue prevention strategies Required Expertise Experience in application support within a trading environment, with strong prioritization skills and a results-driven approach Advanced knowledge of Unix and Windows server environments Understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Geneos Proficiency with Tibco Rendezvous messaging systems Familiarity with continuous integration and configuration tools such as Jenkins and Ansible Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting, with a focus on process automation SQL expertise for reporting and data analysis across relational systems Understanding of trading system operations, including order routing, order book structures, and electronic communication networks Knowledge of smart order routers, market data feeds, and real-time application configuration Ability to assess technical issues and communicate their business impact with clarity Familiarity with cloud environments is considered an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr NOVIPRO
