Production Associate

Novolex is hiring immediately for a Production Associate in Manteno, IL. If you have experience with basic manufacturing principles, we can train you on the rest! Compensation is $21.33 an hour, paid weekly, with a $1.00 shift differential. Available shifts are 1st shift (6:45am-3:15PM Monday-Friday) and 3rd shift (10:45 pm to 7:15am Monday-Friday). Essential duties and responsibilities include following all plant safety policies and procedures, participating in safety programs, reading production schedules and work instructions, setting up machines, verifying product conformance, computing data, performing changeovers, ensuring proper tools and resources are used, performing lockout procedures, cleaning equipment, maintaining a clean work area, writing production reports, ensuring optimal roll handling and packaging, reporting defects, communicating effectively with the OPS Operator, being a member of the production help chain, assisting in PMs, operating a walkie, assisting with web breaks, start ups, and grinding, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read a tape measure, and intermediate math skills.
