Bring the right attitude and bring the FUN Job Description: As a veterinary Customer Service Representative at Redstone AnimalHospitalyou will schedule appointments andfacilitatefollow up calls for our six Veterinarians, check patients in and out, update patient records and owner information, as well as process payments. A successful candidate should have strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent telephoneand in personcustomer service skills, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Responsibility: Answer a six-line phone system and transfer the clients inquires appropriately Check patients in for their appointments as soon as they arrive and record their weight on the scale (ifcaninepatient). Complete any follow up tasks or calls on the criticalfollow up list Confirm appointments and procedures scheduled for the next day that were not confirmed through our reminder system. Complete surgery paperwork for the next days drop off’s Monitor Gmail Inbox for any incoming and outgoing communications/appointment requests Attach specialty and emergency visit records to patient charts and task DVM for review Be knowledgeableinHeartwormPrevention and Flea and Tick Control Be knowledgeable in Puppy and Kitten Vaccine Schedule Process prescription refill requests and verifying refills with DVM if needed Assistin Drive thru pharmacy Take in drop off lab samples and make sure they appropriately labeled with printedrequisition Complete record audits to ensure charges were accurately captured and SOAP notes were entered properly Assist in triage scheduling and check in for emergency or add on appointments Go through our scan folder and properly upload documents and assign to the correct patient files Communicating across departments for when tech appointments arrive for treatment Veterinary Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Able to lift at least 40lbs Basic math and computer skills Experience withAvimarkin a plus but notrequired Comfortable working with animals Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Health benefits package 401K Employee discounts on veterinary services and products Positive and supportive work environment with a focus on work-life Harmony #J-18808-Ljbffr Redstone-Animal-Hospital
