The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing, building and integrating state of the art testing environments (flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight test. On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter. Raytheon is seeking Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Systems Integrator . Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization. Perform in system integration activities within HWIL facilities to support system signal presentation. Participate in troubleshooting and failure investigation activities within HWIL facilities. Participate on HWIL engineering teams performing test system design, assembly and integration activities on developmental programs. Work in a team environment in HWIL facilities which support the full lifecycle of system development and sustainment activities. Operate HWIL test environments through various phases of program development. System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL. Integration experience with hardware, software and/or firmware including electrical design and reading schematic diagrams. Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generators. Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills. Experience with RF theory and application in systems. Knowledge of networking and IP addressed based equipment. Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance. Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes.
