Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)

Location: Clients’ homes.

Pay: 4–12 hour shifts: $16.00 per hour. Pay differential for short shifts (2–3 hours). Multiple ways to advance.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Provide companionship, listening ear, and emotional support.
Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
Prepare meals and run errands as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
Maintain a positive, humorous atmosphere.
Document care activities accurately.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; willing to drive up to 30 minutes to clients.
Pass a criminal background check.
Excellent communication skills with empathy and active listening.
Understanding of end‑of‑life care and related challenges.
Ability to create memorable moments and use humor appropriately.
Experience as a State Tested Nursing Aide, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, nursing student, retired nurse, or similar; or genuine desire to become a professional caregiver.
