Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced nuclear medicine department and will be responsible for conducting various imaging studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Empty, Parathyroid, Thyroid, and Thyroid Therapy.
• Administer radioisotopes and other medications as required.
• Start IVs and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
• Utilize EMR and PACS systems (EPIC, Synapse) for patient information and imaging documentation.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT or NMTCB Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-paced nuclear medicine department.
• Knowledge and experience with GE and Siemens department specific equipment.
• Ability to perform 6-10 scans/studies per day.

Work Schedule

• 410 hour days: Monday through Thursday.
• Weekend and holiday call requirements are mandatory.

Additional Information

Candidates must be located within a 60-mile radius and are required to submit a valid driver's license. Scrubs are not provided; solid color scrubs without prints or graphics are required. A week of orientation is mandatory, and clinicians should be present in-state for this orientation.
