Position Title: Accounting Specialist

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Accounting Specialist position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to develop their accounting skills within a reputable organization. This role offers hands-on experience in accounts payable processes and interacts with multiple departments, making it ideal for those seeking to expand their financial expertise.

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review, post, and process all approved vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and reconcile statements to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Prepare and issue accounts payable checks promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to secure invoice approval for timely payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally.
- Maintain standard cost records and provide backup for other accounting functions as needed.

Accounting Specialist Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally during data entry or filing tasks.
- Focused attention to detail and confidentiality in data handling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic mathematical skills and understanding of accounting principles.
