Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across Porter County as a School Psychologist! This contract role places you at the forefront of school-based mental health services, offering meaningful connections with learners and staff throughout a diverse educational community. Home base will be at the SELF school, with travel to various sites across the county based on student needs.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in fostering positive outcomes, using your expertise to assess, consult, and create tailored interventions. Your workday totals 7 hours, generally between 7:45 AM and 3:15 PM, giving you a steady routine while allowing for some flexibility based on school schedules.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate to Indiana schools
• Previous experience with diverse K-12 student populations strongly preferred
• Skilled in psychoeducational assessments, report writing, and case management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and administrators
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the county as needed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments to support eligibility and intervention planning
• Deliver direct services and psychological counseling as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
• Act as a resource for teachers and support staff, offering strategies for student success
• Engage in professional development and ongoing training to maintain best practices
