Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Gaithersburg, MD
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR opportunity that allows you to enjoy weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast, utilizing excellent equipment and providing competitive compensation.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you can spend quality time with family and attend to personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive state-of-the-art International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You may take your assigned truck home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, allowing for a focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,000 to $1,450 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for safe driving.
Running Area:
- Cover Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls taken care of through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Enjoy a $20,000 company-paid life insurance policy, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
