Caregiver Position at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley

As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Immediate need for experienced, licensed applicants for 8 hour shifts 2-5 days per week in Oakland Monday through Sunday 6a-2p, 2a-10p, and 10p-6a. Must have reliable transportation to drive the client. The right candidate will have experience with spinal injury patients and catheter care as well as ostomy bags, and have a passion for engaging with seniors and improving their day to day living experience. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, medication reminders, meal preparation and nutrition, companionship and social interaction, and health monitoring.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, previous experience as a caregiver, certification in CPR and First Aid, active California Home Care Aid license, active California CNA license, compassionate and empathetic attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour.
