About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead a high-performing finance function across two distinct businesses. The CFO will be responsible for creating and maintaining a robust financial operating system, with a focus on enterprise financial architecture, project and manufacturing economics, cash and liquidity management, capital strategy, strategic planning, and financial controls. This role demands a progressive finance leader with a deep understanding of project-based construction or engineered-to-order manufacturing economics, as well as direct experience in supporting an investor-funded startup or capital-intensive growth company. The successful candidate will be adept at improving cash generation and operating margin, and will have a strong technical grounding in GAAP financial reporting, controllership, treasury, tax, audit, internal controls, FP&A, and enterprise risk management. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in senior finance leadership, with a background that includes CFO, divisional CFO, or equivalent enterprise responsibility. The role requires a professional with executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Sound judgment under uncertainty and the ability to make strategic financial decisions that align with the company's growth and governance are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in advanced manufacturing, building products, or specialty contracting, as well as a CPA or equivalent accounting qualification. The CFO will also be expected to have experience in financial system design and scaling, and a strong understanding of multi-entity structures, intercompany agreements, and international operations.
