Charge MRI Technologist - Christian Hospital

Full‑Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Mid‑Day Shift) Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm Position Details Lead workflow of the department Staff scheduling and training Update scanner protocols & quality checks Order & authorization verification MRI Safety screening Patient care (etc.) Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area Oversees shift operations: daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, adjustments to priorities & assignments Enters/escalates IT and equipment tickets Serves as clinical resource and expert for technologists (problem solving, assisting difficult exams, mentoring) Acts as liaison between team and supervisor, ensuring communication and escalation Maintains/orders necessary supplies for department needs Qualifications Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher) Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) 2 years experience Experience & Background Experience in one of the following areas: Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior tech, Lead Radiology Technologist, Supervisor, Senior Technologist, Radiology Department Lead, Chief IR Technologist, Radiology Supervisor, RT, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Radiographer, AMT, MR, MRI, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, MRI Radiographer Licenses & Certifications IEMA - Illinois only (exclude MRIRTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and legal services (first day of month after hire date) Disability insurance paid by BJC Annual 4% BJC Automatic Retirement Contribution 401(k) plan with BJC match Tuition Assistance (first day) BJC Institute for Learning and Development Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Paid Time Off (vacation, sick days, holidays, personal time) Adoption assistance Benefits may not apply to all jobs.
