Senior Project ManagerHEAVY CIVIL HIGHWAY and CONSTRUCTION IOC Company, LLC. is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Texas Operations. The Senior Project Manager will assist with the managing of ongoing jobs. This is an exciting and challenging role for which only the best will be considered. This position is in our Edinburg, Texas office but will include travel to projects throughout Texas. The primary objective of this role is to oversee the project management staff and assist with managing large-scale heavy civil construction projects and structures. We are looking for a Project Manager who want to advance to an Operational Manager. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following key areas:Produce Project SchedulingExperience in TxDOT Type ProjectsHCSS HeavyJob advanced entry skillsHave a proven track record managing in Heavy Civil Road Work ConstructionKey Tasks and Responsibilities:On-Site Project ManagementEnsure and communicate clear roles and responsibilities to entire project teamProject Coordination & Project ControlsConduct weekly meetings with project team (to include scheduling and costing review)Construction Billings, Cost tracking for sequential costing to include Job Cost AnalysisDeveloping, managing & enforcing construction scheduleDevelop and effectively manage against project budget and ensure project meets projected/required marginsMaintaining records and logsCommunicating with vendors, subcontractors, and ownersCompleting RFQ and bid packagesDeveloping and following a two week look ahead scheduleParticipating in subcontractor and owner meetingsPreparation and delivery of close out and owner's manualsRequirements :Experience with TxDOT Type ProjectsProficiency with HCSS HeavyJob software, Primavera P6, Plan Grid, PreferredEffective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.Good organizational and communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent interpersonal communication skillsStrong organization, time management, problem solving and decision-making skillsVery high attention to detail and have the ability to analyze dataEstablish and maintain job budget, correspondence, and job files for project recordsInterface with owner, engineer, contractors, subcontractors and vendors, to provide engineering and cost analysis as well as value engineering when applicableEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, required.5 years of project management experience with TxDOT related type projects in heavy civil construction or 8 years combined field and project management experience in heavy civil construction, required.Have the ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a fast-paced environment.Able to work beyond normal business hours when needed to including weekends.Poses superior communication and organizational development skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and mange cross-functional teams.Experience with: MS Office, Primavera Scheduling P6 and HCSS Heavy Job (preferred)Poses a valid driver's licenseBilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required.Benefits As an industry leader, we strive to offer employees a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefit package which includes:Medical, Dental, Vison and/or which is effective 1st of the month following 60 days of hire date.Annual Bonus based off performancePaid Time OffAbout IOC Company LLC: We have a total dedication to safety, quality and productivity which has led to our company's success.
