\n \nCrescent Moon Theater Productions is seeking a Production Manager for What We Carry , a new documentary theater project bringing together the real stories of refugees and displaced civilians from Iraq and Afghanistan alongside U.S. veterans of those wars.

\n \nCreated through interviews, a three-day retreat that brought veterans and refugees together, and an ensemble devising process, What We Carry explores the human impact of war and what becomes possible when people who experienced the same wars from very different perspectives come together.

\n \nWe are currently developing the production toward a Spring 2027 premiere , with plans to bring the work to communities throughout the Bay Area, Washington, and potentially Portland .
\n \nThe Role
\n \nWe’re looking for a Production Manager who can join the project in the coming months and help us move the production toward its premiere and touring.
\n \nA major initial focus will be helping book the production —identifying potential theaters, presenters, and community partners; reaching out to venues; following up on leads; and helping secure presenting opportunities in the Bay Area, Washington, and Portland .
\n \nExperience with theater booking, touring, venue outreach, producing, or presenter relationships is especially appreciated.
\n \nAs we move closer to production, the Production Manager will also help coordinate the logistics necessary to bring the show to different venues, communicate with presenters and collaborators, keep track of schedules and production needs, and help ensure that the touring process stays organized.
\n \n \nWe’re Looking for Someone who has experience in production management, producing, theater administration, booking, touring, or venue/presenter outreach . Someone who is highly organized, communicative, reliable, proactive, and comfortable keeping track of many moving pieces.
\nExperience helping book theater productions or develop touring opportunities is a major plus.
\n \nPay: Compensation to be discussed based on experience and scope of work.
\nLocation: Bay Area
\nInitial commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours/week
\nSchedule: Flexible
\nTimeline: Fall 2026 through Spring 2027, with the possibility of continuing with touring
