Development Manager

$70k - $85k

iOR Partners

Do you want to help revolutionize healthcare? Join Our Team Fueled by a vision to streamline the surgical experience, iOR Partners is leading the office‑based surgery movement, a once‑in‑a‑generation change that benefits physicians, patients, and payers. Our turnkey solution empowers surgeons to seamlessly integrate clinic and surgery in one location, utilizing the highest level of patient safety. Be a part of redefining surgical excellence in the U.S. and around the world! Now Hiring For: Surgical Operations Manager (Office-Based Surgery) — Onsite – Butler, PA About the Job You will run surgical operations at our Butler, PA site, owning the day‑to‑day flow from presurgical workup through case completion. This is a hands‑on manager role for someone who wants to be on the floor, not behind a desk. iOR Partners is building the office‑based surgery model for ophthalmology, bringing surgical capability directly into practices instead of routing patients to hospital ORs or traditional ASC's. It's a real shift in how cataract and ophthalmic surgery gets delivered, and this role puts you at the center of executing it! You will be our extension at this site – the local owner of clinical execution, compliance, and team performance backed by centralized teams in revenue cycle, accreditation, materials management, and provider relations. This role is a strong fit for someone with ophthalmic surgical or ASC operations experience in ophthalmology who wants more ownership and a clear path toward broader operational leadership. What You'll Own Surgical day execution Run daily surgical operations: scheduling, patient flow, room turnover, and on‑time case starts. Drive throughout and minimize downtime by tightening the schedule and removing friction between clinical and surgical teams. Step in clinically when patient flow demands it to perform pre‑surgical diagnostics, workups, and testing coordination (biometry, topography, OCT, visual fields). Make sure clinical findings translate cleanly into surgical planning so cases are ready when the surgeon walks in. Compliance and accreditation Coordinate OSHA, HIPAA, and state and federal compliance at the site. Lead accreditation readiness and maintenance (QUAD A/AAAASF, or TJC where applicable), including audits, documentation, and survey preparation. Maintain accurate, timely documentation across all surgical cases within our EHR. Team and site leadership Coordinate, train, and oversee surgical personnel on‑site (specific scope depends on the site model). Serve as the on‑site point of contact across iOR's centralized teams: revenue cycle, accreditation, compliance, materials management, and provider relations. Track and improve operational performance including utilization, efficiency, and patient experience. Growth and referrals Partner with our Provider Relations Manager on optometric outreach: build and maintain relationships with referring optometrists and represent the practice in market. Work with our materials management team on inventory, vendor coordination, and cost control. Collaborate with revenue cycle on documentation and reimbursement workflows so clinical operations and billing stay aligned. What We're Looking For Required 3+ years in ophthalmic surgical operations, an ASC, or office‑based surgery. Hands‑on clinical experience in ophthalmology or optometry, including pre‑surgical diagnostics and patient workups. Working knowledge of surgical workflows, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards. Experience managing or coordinating teams in a clinical or surgical environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, as well as the judgment to know when to step in versus when to escalate. Based locally in the Butler, PA market. This is an on‑site role. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Preferred Experience supporting optometric outreach or building referral relationships with outside providers. Direct experience with QUAD A, AAAASF, or TJC accreditation processes and survey readiness. Clinical certifications such as COA, COT, OSA or similar ophthalmic credentials. Experience working across multiple providers or practices in a surgical setting. Willingness to travel: Up to 25% Job Type: Full‑Time (40/hr week) Location: Onsite - Butler, PA Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 Market Development Manager (Optometric Growth) – Oklahoma | Texas area - Remote + 50% Travel About the Role We’re building something new in eye care – a scalable model that connects optometrists and surgical centers to improve patient access and drive better clinical and financial outcomes. As a Market Development Manager, you will own a local market and be responsible for building and growing a network of optometric partners who actively refer patients for surgical care. This is a high‑impact, field‑based role focused on: Building relationships with optometrists Driving adoption of a new model Creating measurable growth within your market This is not a passive account‑management role — you will be responsible for building, activating, and growing a referral network from the ground up. What You’ll Do Build the Network Identify and recruit optometric practices to participate in the program Develop strong relationships with doctors and staff Clearly communicate the value of the model and earn trust Drive Adoption Train practices on workflows, patient identification, and referral processes Ensure teams are confident and equipped to participate Be present in‑market to support early success Generate Growth Help practices move from initial interest to consistent referral behavior Increase referral volume, case quality, and overall performance Track and manage performance across your market Own Your Market Take full ownership of your region’s performance Identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes Partner with internal teams to continuously refine the model What Success Looks Like You build a strong network of optometric partners in your market Those partners actively refer patients (not just signup) Referral activity grows consistently over time Your market produces meaningful, measurable revenue growth What We’re Looking For Experience 5–8+ years in healthcare, medical sales, or provider‑facing roles Experience working with optometrists, ophthalmologists, or similar providers preferred Background in territory growth, business development, or physician relations Skills Strong relationship‑building and communication skills Ability to influence behavior and drive adoption Comfortable presenting to physicians and clinical staff Data‑driven mindset with ability to track and improve performance Traits Self‑starter who thrives in low‑structure environments Competitive and results‑oriented Comfortable being in the field and traveling regularly Motivated by building something and seeing tangible results Why This Role Opportunity to build and own a market, not just manage accounts Direct impact on patient access and practice growth High visibility and opportunity to grow with the business Performance‑driven compensation aligned to results Compensation Competitive base salary Performance‑based incentives tied to: Optometric partner signings Revenue growth within your market Willingness to travel: 50% (Required) Job Type: Full‑Time (40/hr week) Location: Oklahoma | Texas area – Remote with 50% travel Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000 base + commission Market Development Manager (Optometric Growth) – Orlando | West Palm | Miami area - Remote + 50% Travel (Content omitted for brevity – see full original description for this role) Market Development Manager (Optometric Growth) – Utah | Phoenix | Las Vegas | Reno area - Remote + 50% Travel (Content omitted for brevity – see full original description for this role) Site Development Manager - Remote + 25-50% Travel About the Job We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Development Manager to lead the planning, development, and successful launch of office‑based surgical suites.
