As a Security Officer Evening Rover Duty in Florence NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting relevant details according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility entrance points parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials when required and support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with site guidelines.
• Communicate with site contacts employees and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents maintenance concerns and other security-related matters affecting daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
