Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized therapy plans and improve functional communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' speech and language abilities through comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on communication techniques and strategies for improvement.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Hold a valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY).
- Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Demonstrate experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Showcase ability to develop creative and effective therapy plans.
- Be proficient in utilizing speech therapy assessment tools and electronic health records.
