Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Meet one or more of these requirements:
  • Associate’s degree or higher, OR 48 college units plus high school diploma, OR high school diploma with a passing score on the CBEST or Instructional Aide exam
• For S10, S10A, S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22: Specialized qualifications may include experience in sign language, Braille, behavioral health, physical health care procedures, or supporting students with vision or hearing impairments
• Minimum 6 months of recent school-based paraprofessional experience preferred
• Willingness to assist with all assigned duties—including toileting, feeding, and personal care as needed—across campus placements
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support and instructional assistance to students under teacher guidance
• Implement individualized educational and behavioral plans
• Assist with adaptive equipment and specialized health needs where trained and required
• Maintain student safety and well-being
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
