LTC RNFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Long Term Care for a 13-week travel assignment in Douglas, Wyoming. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.Required Qualifications:One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care settingValid RN license in compliance with state regulationsCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certificationEssential Work Functions:Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well-beingDevelop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care teamAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyObserve residents for any medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare providerProvide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practiceSupervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring residents receive quality careEducate residents and families on medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditionsDocument care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a timely mannerRespond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams when neededWork closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive carePerform other duties as assigned within the scope of practiceAdhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standardsRequired Essential Skills:Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to read, write, and communicate in the English languageAbility to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skillsPhysical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bendInterpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalismTechnical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipmentMental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
