About the Position
Exclusive Part-Time/Full-Time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Port jervis, New York! Thrive in a community-focused outpatient practice caring for adult and geriatric patients while enjoying a flexible weekday schedule designed around excellent work-life balance.
Choose a part-time schedule of 16–20 hours per week or 3 weekdays , or pursue a full-time opportunity based on your availability and career goals. Enjoy no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities , along with the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships, practice with autonomy, and make a lasting impact in the community.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, interpret, and document diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Active New York Nurse Practitioner license .
- Current DEA registration .
- Active Medicare and Medicaid enrollment .
- Must meet New York's 3,600-hour independent practice requirement .
- Primary Care experience required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
Working Hours
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Part-Time: 16–20 hours/week or 3 weekdays
- Flexible weekday scheduling
- No nights
- No weekends
- No on-call responsibilities
