Pest Control Start Technician

Overview The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions offers on-site seasonal start technician positions in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible for delivering 5‑star customer service, performing initial pest control applications, and handling all associated customer communication and record‑keeping. Responsibilities Perform initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail. Interact with customers to explain service features and benefits, providing exceptional customer service. Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate, organized records. Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety gear in good working condition, while utilizing technology to manage appointments and customer records. Qualifications 1+ years of customer service experience (preferred). Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license; a clean driving record is required to operate the company vehicle. Earn and maintain state‑required training and pest control licensing if applicable (the company will provide training). Required Availability Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday: Off Pay and Benefits EcoShield offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including: Weekly pay – paid every Friday.
