Exciting Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Wanted!


Job Description:

- Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
- Data Collection Date: 10/7/2026
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 3
- Team Size: 8 FT (6 RN & 2 Techs) PRN- 3 (2 RN, 1 tech)
- Day Shift Staff Requirements:
- 3-4 staff per patient, including at least 1 tech per room, depending on case load
- Night Shift Staff Requirements:
- Call with 2 RN and 1 tech each night
- Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff per patient
- Equipment Utilized:
- X-ray, Impella, Penumbra, IABP, various stents, sheaths, wires, guides, and atherectomy.
- EMR: Hemomerge & Meditech Expanse
- Typical Procedures:
- Heart Caths
- CTO
- High-risk PCI
- Ablations (AFib, AFlutter, SVT, PVC)
- Device Implantations (PPM, ICD, Watchman)
- Peripheral Angiography (with/without intervention)
- ECMO Cannulation
- Thrombectomy


- Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous cath lab experience
- Easy-going personality
- Required Certifications:
- Radiology Technologist or RCIS
- Dress Code:
- Scrub Color/Attire - Caribbean scrubs
- Unit Guidelines:
- Standard work times: 6:30 - 3:30, M-F
- On-Call starts after daily cases end
- Weekend On-Call: 24-hour coverage from Fri-Sun
- Position Availability: 1/1
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks
