Press Brake OperatorTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Press Brake Operator in USA Fontana, Ca.Report to the Fabrication Manager, the Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating a press brake machine to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications.What a typical day looks like:Operates a press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates.Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.Measures and aligns materials to be used.Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.Maintains a clean work area.Performs other related duties as assigned.The experience we're looking to add to our team:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience operating a press brake machine.Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.Ability to follow instructions.Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans including blueprints and drawings.Strong attention to detail skillsBasic computer and math skillsWhat the physical requirements are:Physically able to operate the press brake.Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a timeMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementPay Range (Applicable to California) $21.61 USD - $29.18 USD HourlyJob CategoryOperationsIs Sponsorship Available?NoCrown is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
