Registered Occupational Therapist
Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!
The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents. As a Registered Occupational Therapist at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.
Registered Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat residents per MD orders
- Develop effective treatment plans including long-and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides in direct resident care and resident-related activities in accordance with state practice acts
- Treat residents according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician
- Record clinical documentation of daily treatments and procedures
- Participate in the scheduling of residents as indicated
- Participate in discharge planning
Registered Occupational Therapist Requirements
- Degree from American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational Therapy
- Current NYS licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred:
- Previous experience in post-acute/long-term care
