Driver and Program Assistant

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve. Transportation Driver – Adult Day Health Program Baltimore, MD $16.00 per hour Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift No Nights No Weekends No On‑Call Looking for a meaningful career where you can make a difference every day? Join our Adult Day Health team as a Transportation Driver and help ensure older adults and individuals with disabilities arrive safely to and from our center. You'll play an important role in helping participants stay active, engaged, and connected to their community while working with a supportive and caring team. What You’ll Do Safely transport participants between their homes, the day center, appointments, and community activities. Assist passengers with boarding, securing, and exiting the vehicle. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Support participants with activities, meals, and daily care needs as needed. Provide compassionate assistance with mobility, hygiene, and bathroom needs. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of driving experience. Experience driving passenger vans preferred but not required. Ability to pass a background check.
