Helms Bros Mercedes-Benz is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our team in Bayside, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the finance and insurance process, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for our customers while maximizing profitability for the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the automotive finance department operations.
• Prepare and process all credit and loan applications for new and used vehicle sales.
• Work closely with lenders and financial institutions to secure optimal financing terms.
• Present and explain all available finance and insurance products to customers.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Train and lead finance staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet department goals.
• Collaborate with sales and management teams to develop attractive and competitive finance programs.
• Analyze market trends and adjust financing options to maximize profitability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle financing, loan processes, and credit applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Understanding of compliance regulations related to finance and insurance.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in finance software and dealership management systems.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
