Quick Facts: Location: Bridgeton, MO Start Date: 11/30/2026 End Date: 03/01/2027 (extension likely) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with unpaid 1-hour lunch) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licensure: MO State Medical License (or eligible) Experience: Minimum 1 year in radiation oncology Certifications: BC in Radiation Oncology, BLS required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $327.60/hr Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Referral bonuses Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated support team at VHS What You’ll Do: Provide specialized radiation oncology care for adult and geriatric patients Perform new patient consultations and follow-up appointments Review lab results and imaging (EPIC with Aria platform) Develop and execute treatment plans including CT simulation, 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, and implants Support staff, including radiation therapists and medical physicists, in delivering quality care Document procedures and case logs for stereotactic cases Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain compliance with all institutional policies and safety standards What You Need: Required: MD/DO license in Missouri Board Certified in Radiation Oncology BLS certification At least 1 year of clinical radiation oncology experience Experience with advanced treatment procedures (e.g., SRS, SBRT, brachytherapy) DEA certification and MO BNDD registration Preferred: Prior experience supporting new patient consults and complex case management Familiarity with EPIC/Aria EMR systems About the Assignment: This position is at a hospital-based outpatient oncology department, delivering comprehensive radiation therapy services including diagnostics, treatment planning, and advanced procedures such as stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy. The team includes radiation therapists, physicists, oncology nurses, and dosimetrists.
