Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California teaching credential for Moderate/Severe Disabilities (required)
• Experience working with elementary-age students in a special education setting, especially in programs supporting mod/severe needs (preferred)
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide full-time instruction (7.17 hours/day; 35.87 hours/week) to a manageable caseload of 11 elementary students with moderate to severe needs
• Develop, review, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
• Create and maintain an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
• Use evidence-based strategies and adaptive tools to support diverse learning styles
• Collaborate with related service providers and communicate progress to families on a regular basis
• Adapt curriculum and provide behavioral support as needed to promote student growth and engagement

For this role, you can expect an hourly pay between $50 and $60, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
