Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for varying student needs
- Collaborative mindset, willing to work with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) supporting students’ unique learning needs
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both small group and inclusive classroom settings
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Foster a safe, positive and productive learning atmosphere
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and fellow staff to encourage open communication
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in professional development and IEP meetings
