Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Chattanooga area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position (35 hours per week) runs from August 5, 2026, through May 19, 2027, and offers the chance to make a substantial impact with elementary-aged children. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
• Current Department of Education (DOE) SLP certification
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with elementary-age students
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Must complete required fingerprinting and credentialing in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
• Provide direct therapy services, consultations, and in-service trainings
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Manage a dynamic caseload across one or multiple schools, adapting to evolving district needs
