Our client, seeks accomplished Restoration Construction Project Manager (Fire & Wildfire Rebuild) . *** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship *** Location(s): Northern California (Multiple openings in Stockton, Modesto, and East Bay Areas) – Hybrid (job sites, office, remote) Urgent hiring needs currently focused in the Stockton/Modesto and East Bay Area, California markets. Notes: Multiple openings available across Stockton, East Bay, and Modesto regions. Role involves managing both fire restoration and residential rebuild (wildfire recovery) projects. Hybrid work environment with frequent site visits. Fast-paced, client-facing role requiring strong coordination and leadership skills. Job Description: Oversee fire restoration, reconstruction, and insurance repair projects throughout Northern California. Manage assigned projects from handoff through final completion. Review project scopes, estimates, schedules, and execution plans. Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, suppliers, inspections, and materials. Build and maintain project schedules to ensure timely project completion. Monitor jobsite readiness and workflow efficiency. Resolve project-related issues and remove roadblocks proactively. Maintain high-level customer communication and service throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project updates and communicate schedule changes professionally. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively. Read and interpret Xactimate scopes and project documentation. Review job costs, budgets, and project requirements. Identify change orders, supplements, and missing scope items when applicable. Protect gross profit margins by managing labor, material, and subcontractor costs. Communicate financial risks and project concerns proactively. Conduct regular site visits, quality inspections, and punch list management. Ensure subcontractors and crews meet company quality standards. Hold subcontractors and crews accountable for workmanship and performance. Maintain organized and accurate project documentation. Keep project information current within company systems. Utilize construction and restoration software platforms effectively. Manage multiple active projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, vendors, insurance-related parties, and internal teams. Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, urgency, and problem-solving skills. Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and confidence. Qualifications: Project management experience in construction, restoration, reconstruction, or insurance repair. Strong preference for fire restoration experience. Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. Understanding of job costing, scheduling, scopes, and construction sequencing. Ability to read and work from Xactimate scopes. Strong communication skills with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving and field leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and drive projects forward without constant supervision. Comfortable holding subcontractors and crews accountable. Professional, organized, and detail-oriented communication style. Basic computer and software proficiency. Ability to read and understand construction scopes and project documentation. Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DMV check. Nice to Haves: Fire restoration and insurance reconstruction experience. Residential or commercial construction experience. Foreman, superintendent, estimator, or lead carpenter experience. Restoration or rebuild experience. Experience with Buildertrend.
