What You'll Do As an Operating Room RN, you will play a key role in supporting safe and effective surgical care, including: Providing direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery Preparing patients for surgical procedures and supporting pre‑op assessments Assisting surgeons and surgical teams during procedures Monitoring patients throughout operative and recovery phases Maintaining sterile technique and patient safety standards Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists Ensuring accurate documentation and continuity of care Schedule Full‑time, Monday–Friday 8‑hour shifts Call required What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required) Current Illinois RN license Current BLS certification required OR experience preferred New graduates welcome to apply Why Join Gateway?
