About the Role
MCS Water Technology is seeking a bilingual, friendly, sales-minded Customer Service Representative to manage outbound customer calls related to reverse osmosis (RO) filter replacements and water softener maintenance. This role combines proactive customer outreach with light sales responsibilities, helping customers stay on top of their system maintenance while identifying opportunities for service upgrades, additional products, or renewed maintenance plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to existing customers to schedule reverse osmosis filter change appointments based on maintenance timelines
- Contact customers regarding water softener servicing, salt refills, and system check-ups
- Educate customers on the importance of regular maintenance for water quality and equipment longevity
- Identify upsell opportunities (filter upgrades, additional units, service plans) during customer conversations
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments with the technician/dispatch team
- Maintain accurate customer records and call notes in the CRM/scheduling system
- Follow up on missed or rescheduled appointments
- Handle inbound customer inquiries about billing, service status, or product questions as needed
- Meet call volume and sales/upsell targets set by management
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary
Qualifications
- Bilingual - English and Mandarin/Cantonese required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, persuasive phone presence
- Basic computer skills (CRM software, scheduling tools, email)
- Prior experience in water treatment, home services, or a related industry a plus, but not required
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify customer needs
