Details Work is performed in the Pediatric Surgical unit of a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15 Three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours per week 13-week contract Requirements Active OK or Compact (eNLC) RN license required Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required — AHA-issued certifications only Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Basic computer skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills required Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Full DOB required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and documenting patient responses to nursing interventions Assists physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply; extensions are limited to one time for a maximum of 26 total weeks Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screening, background check, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of an offer — the facility does not allow start date delays due to non-compliance BSN from a board-approved program is preferred American Traveler Job ID #P-709911.
