WE’RE HIRING – CLASS 1 DRIVER
Blue Recruitment Personnel is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of a specialist haulage and lifting company, with opportunities based in Barnard Castle.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a highly specialised operation where no two days are the same.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Class 1 (C+E) licence
Previous experience preferred – training can be provided
ADR licence advantageous
Flexible and proactive mindset
Strong problem-solving approach and willingness to adapt
The Role Will Include:
Transporting plant and machinery
Operating stepframe trailers, flatbeds & container lifters
Supporting specialist lifting operations
Machinery relocations
Factory shutdown projects
Abnormal load movements
Working Pattern:
Nights out required
Night shifts involved
Weekend work required when needed
Pay:
£16.50-18.00/h.
