About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience License: Active Massachusetts RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Willingness to float to any Medical-Surgical unit - Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course - Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred) - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be in hand Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload or during interviews will not be approved. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Travelers must be pre-closed on a 48-hour guaranteed time before upload. Include state temporary nursing service agency license with the traveler profile. Effective immediately, this license is required for temporary staffing needs. Two specific interview dates and times of availability must be added to the profile. Profiles will not be presented without this information, and "anytime" will not be accepted. Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Ensure permanent address is included in the profile upload to avoid processing delays. Travelers must note when they can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail will be redirected. Unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds, depending upon the unit. Patient ratio is typically 1:6. Dress code permits personal scrubs of any color. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests at or after the time of offer or interview. Obtain scheduling information prior to submission. Requests after an offer may lead to a rescinded offer. All travelers uploaded to needs must include any requested time off. The candidate must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
