Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Alternating Days/Nights, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM / 5:00 PM–7:30 AM) | One weekend per month required | Holidays required as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a trauma operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and circulating duties as required within the OR
• Float within the perioperative scope as needed — travelers are expected to float first
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements including weekends and holidays as they fall
• Maintain active RN licensure and required certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience, including trauma OR and scrub experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Must be comfortable floating within perioperative scope with no restrictions
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
